Bought this STi Widetrack two days ago and am loving it.

chris wheela 27 March 2016 09:50 PM

Looks awesome in that colour :)

SubieJack 27 March 2016 10:23 PM

Thanks Chris! I've always liked the classic blue, but this isn't half bad!

Sarg400 28 March 2016 03:43 AM

Looks a very nice example in a class colour, looks unmolested?

SubieJack 28 March 2016 08:18 AM

Pretty much unmolested yes, apart from the Prodrive kit, a remap, and a Mishimotor radiator. The guy didn't want to get rid of it, but he has an S203 being imported end of May and couldn't have both.

Soup 28 March 2016 09:08 AM

Very nice.

Matt23 28 March 2016 02:21 PM

Looks very smart fella, enjoy it :thumb:

SubieJack 28 March 2016 09:10 PM

Thanks guys :)

So it's had power mods, it has the suspension from the RB320 including the rear anti-roll bar, does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I should do to it? I love how it is at the moment, but the mod bug is coming..

CharlySkunkWeed 28 March 2016 09:43 PM

De-tango the head lights ? Looks great other than that.

pcressie 28 March 2016 10:47 PM

Very nice. Apart from maybe a front splitter I'd leave the exterior alone.

SubieJack 28 March 2016 11:02 PM

Splitter was definitely on the list, and now so is de-tangoing the headlights!

McGoo 29 March 2016 04:08 PM

very clean car, looks smart

That looks great. As hard as it can be to ignore the mod itch i'd try to hold back. I've got a feeling that good unmodified versions of these are going to really go up in price in the next couple of years. I know that's not why we buy these, but if it's not broken, leave it alone...
But a splitter and de-tango'd headlights would look great.

ccsimpreza 31 March 2016 10:48 AM

Looks well. De Tangoing the lights on mine was the best mod ive done!

SubieJack 03 April 2016 11:23 AM

I wouldn't modify it to the point of no return, I would just like to add my touches. So, STi splitter, nice set of 18s, de-tangoing headlights, and other bits and bobs like head unit etc. Doesn't need anything else :)

RussStiTypeuk 07 April 2016 11:03 PM

Lovely motor just picked exactly the same car up in WRB

RussStiTypeuk 09 April 2016 08:02 AM

That's looking sweet, just waiting for my log book to arrive then mine will be going on as well...

Got the new plate fitted and a nice clean. Guess you could say it really is da dogs..

Very nice indeed and original very rare these days !!!

SubieJack 09 April 2016 08:07 AM

Looking good Russ. I did initially want the classic blue colour, but there either weren't any or were too far out of the price range. More than happy with the crystal grey however, as it looks awesome. :D

Looks the business, I had a crystal grey a few yeas back with the Prodrive 18's looked awesome.

I've booked in for the cambelt and service for piece of mind and whilst at the garage the chap told me about a full suspension kit and top mounts they do for £500 so tempted to have a new tight set up :thumb:

My old one !! Sorry silver not crystal grey

SubieJack 09 April 2016 12:13 PM

Loving that! I would like to find a set of prodrive wheels but they seem to be quite rare..

Where did you get that splitter from?

What mods/things to do have you got planned?

I am keeping the STi Type UK as she is to be honest, with the slight clunk from the back which I have been told is a known fault with the STi rear struts I may look to upgrade the front and back suspension. These models in standard form are becoming so hard to find and appreciating in value which is great news...

SubieJack 10 April 2016 08:27 AM

That's what I sorta meant I guess. These cars have great OEM upgrades like the prodive wheels and RB320 suspension upgrades like mine ;) however some mods are always reversible :)
