Battery for classic with fmic

Due to fit a fmic on my v2 soon and my battery is on its last legs

Was wandering if a standard sized replacement will be ok with the fmic pipe work and if so which will be a good alternative or is there a smaller type that will do the job

Standard size is close, but, fine.

If it worries you slide a length of silicon hose over the hard pipe near the battery terminal.

The standard battery was rubbing on my fmic pipe work so this has been fitted and as soon as I can remember the make I will post it!

I think I will try and get a smaller type battery, don't have to worry about the pipe work and in my opinion tidies the engine bay up a bit,
I know odyssesy do them but can anyone recommend any makes and models and also know if the battery terminals are standard size as by the looks of pictures I've seen the cables may require re-lugging with new crimps, may be the pictures being deceptive so hopefully I'm wrong

Cheers

Try and find a standard battery for a different car that is smaller. It'll need to have the same CCA as an Impreza one.

One of my mates got one way back, pretty sure it was for a Corsa.
