Brake and fuel line Diameter Question

Im in the process of rebuilding the brake lines from just above the grommet under the rear seat to the rear arches.

I believe the standard lines are 3/16th's and take m10*1mm union's

Anyone know were is best to get the new union's and flaring kit, dont want to go down the crappy ebay route.

Also ill be adapting the Fuel lines to AN6 from underneath the rear seat to the fuel pump assembly. Can anyone tell me what the diameter of the fuel feed/return and evap lines are please.

Plan on using this style of kit ( either a proper earl's or torques not unbranded rubbish):

Any help be much appreciated

The brake pipes are 3/16 but use copper/nickel pipe. This is the best flaring tool I have used, not this exact brand but this tool it's superb and works every time.

Can't remember exactly what the set up is as standard but there are two sizes of pipe, from memory the feed is 8mm and return 6.5mm both O/D. The torques tube fittings with the olives work well I have them on my car and have never had an issue.

In terms of the brake fittings they are M10 x 1.0 and they are pretty much universal so ebay is fine for these.

you will need new brake line clips as well as originals are covered with plastic and new wont fit in securely. 3/16 automec doubles iirc.

thank you for the information. the brake lines should be simple enough really. think garage next door to my work has a brake flaring tool so probably use theres. money best spent elsewhere to be honest.

so if the fuel feed and return lines are different. ill need 2 different an6 to hardline adapters with the internal olives. ill have a look at torques website. I plan on using new clips for brake lines as well...Thank you for your help guys

Had a look again at the fuel line's. both the feed and return look like the same size and the 3rd pipe " Vent " look's slightly smaller diameter.

Ill be double flaring the line's for the fuel set up, along with the AN6 fitting's with Olives

Witch fitting's did people use before for welding onto the fuel pump assembly

Steel AN6 for the feed and return. AN4 for the vent?
