1998 its not an 1998 ra sti shell so its hardly an sti ra looks a tidy car but think your going to struggle to get anywher close to that.

It is an ra shell that was used.everything on that car is from a 1994 ra apart from shell which is also an ra..I've got all photos of car being rebuilt from bare shell.a lot of time and care went into this project.I'm hardly a dodgy dealer here.

Yeh but its noy not an sti shell as i said unless you have welded up the roof flap and built with care with a reground crank??

No idea but it must be a bloody good one because it controls the 5th injector, something the stock ecu doesn't! ;)

GEMS Ecu controlled the 5th injector on the early RA model, and that wasn't exactly a 'good' Ecu 👍

My 93 RA gas a Gems ecu.. Mapped by Bob Rawle a few years ago.. 5th injector enabled..runs perfectly makes 320bhp stock engine ..
Cold starts fine even on freezing days.
Problem is a lot of the "good mappers" aren't very good at mapping them.

Funnily enough I run a Gems on a MY95 RA about 8 years ago. Simon mapped it and it ran perfectly although the cold start wasn't always great.....That was with a bigger injectors something I was told at the time the Gems didn't like.

My point exactly. crude and old hat, but it works. 👍
