Sub box to fit Blobeye wagon
4 Attachment(s)
I built this 2 years ago when I bought the car. Ran the two subs you can see here with an ancient Kicker 200w amp. Bridges down to 1 ohm (speakers are dual voice coil) and it was INCREDIBLY loud. Nice and tight, very clean, and hits VERY hard. Only selling as I am going to be selling the car in a few weeks (watch this space).
I spent 5 years (many moons ago) building this sort of thing professionally in the states. This is 6 layers of fiberglass and 3/4 inch MDF on top. Solid enough to jump up and down on. Requires no cutting to the car. Take out the spare and it drops right in. Molded to the floor, so doesn't move around. Totally invisible once in there. Completely airtight. Built to a professional standard. So £150 with the subs, or £100 without, so just slightly more than the materials costs. The subs work fine, but are 5 years old. No I don't have an amp to sell, I've had that Kicker for over 20 years (yes I am old) and at this stage I don't think I will ever part with it. This is in a 2004 blob eye wagon. I suspect it would fit a frog eye or hawked as well as I presume the floors are the same, but I am happy to test fit it. Obviously collection is preferred. If you want to send a courier, by all means feel free. Attachment 36504 Attachment 36505 Attachment 36506 Attachment 36507 |
Very nice job there, i'm sure that will get snapped up. Might be an idea to list in forsale section aswell though.
