Do they ever meet up anywhere ?
do anything ?

etc.

oh noticed a sonic blue four door in the company car park (royal and sun alliance in horsham) on Friday, was proudly displaying his SIDC windscreen sticker.

I think i know who he is, though don't know him to speak to.

hello, if your reading this http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

ptholt,

There was a North Hants meeting last night which attracted people from quite a way away... Rayleigh and Northampton to name but a few... this maybe your local if nobody in Surrey/Sussex has organised anything..

I'm sure there will be another.. watch the events thread !

I have been to several Surrey meets over the last couple of years (usually at Newlands Corner or thereabouts)
Hasn't been one for ages though - about time for one ???
Last time one was held there were about 40-50 cars so they are popular.

Cheers

Jules.

I'll be up for that, I've only gotta come from Bromley.

Ptholt

I would be well interested in a Surrey Meet. Newlands corner would be great for me as I only live down the road from there. I've seen various pictures from a previous meet.

Whats the score for organising it then?

I'd be up for Newlands Corner or thereabouts. Lovely spot. Got to get the timing right, though: go there on a Sunday afternoon and it's heaving. Happy to help organise if necessary.

All bar one of the Surrey meets I went to were at Newlands Corner on a Sunday (mid morning)
We usually end up taking over the far-end which takes 50+cars (lined both sides!!) makes for a great photo !!
Then down the road to a local pub.

People usually vaulenteer to organise it (word of mouth does all the real work !!)
Though if going to a pub afterwards its usually best to let the pub landlord know in advance for parking/catering etc.

Cheers

Jules.

Danny Fisher > do you still organise clay shoots over in Kent/Essex ?

Pete,

The East Sussex crew are always having meetings - have a look at the Southern section. I'm sure you would be made welcome. :)
