Car driver shoves cyclist
I find this just about sums up the attitude of utter tw4ts on the roads now:
http://news.sky.com/story/1656145/wa...clist-off-bike I'm no fan of cyclists but to do that is just outrageous and I hope the police do him for as much as they can, he deserves to lose his license doing stuff like that. Just another bully on the road who needs his face punched in when finally he picks on the wrong bloke. |
inevitably you will get people defending the driver!!!
maybe he thought that cyclist had no right to have a camera!! |
'showing off' to his girlfriend , in his new bimmer
he'll get his comeuppance |
Young man.....
|
Gotta be more to it than that, makes you wonder whyt eh cyclist was expecting it, has it happened before? was there somethign before hand that happened? etc etc
Driver looks like a complete twunt, but why he just randomly push a cyclist? |

OK, I'll bite. Please explain in your own words what possible history might have existed between the two of them which would make attempting to assault someone whilst leaning out of the moving vehicle which he's supposed to be in control of a rational act on the part of the driver.
This should be very interesting. One has to try a rationalise why someone would do that; And one possible logical answer is they had a previous altercation. For instance maybe the BMW overtook a minute or so earlier, cyclist may have gestured in some way (as evident on many cycle cam videos). BMW driver took exception, turned round and attempted to assault the cyclist. Something could have happened a day or so earlier and he was recognised. |

It's a segment of footage...if he uploaded the footage of the whole trip then this question wouldn't be needed to be asked:

Lycra-lout versus Bimmer-boy - six of one and half a dozen of the other! mb |
He could wound his windows up lol

Exactly - even the footage on YouTube is heavily edited, and certainly doesn't show the driver "striking the cyclist on the hip". Indeed the driver looks like he is trying to protect himself/his vehicle from some attack from the cyclist (see the fear in his eyes)!!

Any of that might well explain what the BMW driver did, but it would still fall a long way short of making it a rational act.
I said "Rationalise", not rational. Let me rephrase that....I'm trying to rationalise why a knobhead would want to push a cyclist from a moving car. What's the motive, the intention, rationale (note the "e"), objective, purpose etc. Nowhere does that merit a condoning of doing it. Nobody is saying that it's rational. We're just asking and spectulating "why do that?" |

A bit like modern jousting

Attempt to explain or justify (behaviour or an attitude) with logical reasons, even if these are not appropriate. |

Trying to push a cyclist (or a pedestrian) is bordering on psychopathic.

The driver clearly pulls his car across the road onto the cyclists side of the road and right over to him. Where on earth do you see the cyclist threatening the car? :cuckoo: :freak3:

I can see what you're doing here, but are failing to be jocular.
