old but new widetrack low miles

took a few pictures of my recently purchased 2005 widetrack ,had a few blobeyes over the years, after selling my last one i have been searching for nearly 2 years for the "right car "
this car is standard as they come and finding unmolested low mileage subarus are getting extremely hard to get old of, this one currently sits at 3427miles, other than the ast coilovers the car is factory standard,i am fitting the standard suspension in the coming weeks so the ast will be up for sale

thanks came at a cost of 2 kidneys and my liver, but the ocd makes me do this things:lol1:

maydew 06 March 2016 10:34 PM

thanks ,i think the car needs to be kept standard to retain any value as i understand its not a special numbered car etc but good clean unmolested cars are near impossible to find

even after 11 years it still smells factory new inside ,crazy like its been in a time warp

Yes mate after some hard bargaining on the price ,not long had major service along with cambelt ,old belt was in the boot but looks brand new,

I will admit the Lichfield coilovers are spot on , for ride comfort I cannot tell and do love them I have the brand new shocks with the car so really on the fence with it

id keep it with the coilovers as all the alignment will have been specifically set up for it etc, so must handle great. Then if the coilovers ever do become knackered you have the standard springs/shocks as a back up

when it first went up for sale before xmas it was for 23k!

Soup 07 March 2016 06:54 PM

I would definitely stick with the coilovers
