seats need cleaning

evening everyone I've just purchased some STI front seats but they require a very good clean whats the best way to clean the upholstery

Can't beat a wet vac or steam.

I use a Polti steam cleaner or a Numatic George. Both excellent.

If you've not got one of your own your local B&Q usually rent them out

Cant go wrong with one of these...

Combined with one of these...

Pulls an embarrassingly large amount of dirt from carpets and upholstery.

I would suggest vacuuming the seats first before cleaning to get rid of any debris, then spray the area with a good cleaner and then scrub it with a brush. You could even mop up by hand if you have a microfibre cloth.

Steam clean. The steam kills bacteria and gets rid of any bad smells, as opposed to simply using shampoo to remove stains. I had the entire interior of my Impreza steam cleaned for £60.
