Help with Spec C Brakes MY04 Widetrack
Looking to buy a set of discs / pads for a Wide track spec C (poverty spec :) ) HOWEVER the local motor factors I use cant get the details as the car is an import. As its a Widetrack I need to get proper ones that fit (114.3pcd). They list MY04 as none widetrack....!
My issue is this spec C comes with the standard non brembo brakes so cant use the reg plate of UK Widetrack STi to get the proper brakes. So I was wondering which ones would fit without taking off the discs and measuring. Will the discs / pads on my car be the same as a MY05 WRX or a Hawkeye WRX? Cheers Raf |
I'd give a call to Ian at Godspeed, mine's also 04 spec c widetrack but with brembos so it's all the same as sti type uk though and I choosed godspeed set of discs and kevlar pads

You answered the question yourself, If they are the 'subaru' 4 pots with a 294mm disc they are the same as any new age WRX 01- onwards so pads are easy, Discs however...All the WRX's have a 5x100pcd

Take a pic and email it to me , ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk and i'll have a look at whats fitted , the 294mm discs won't fit on a 5 x 114 hub , as the hub outer diameter is too big for the disc to fit on even after redrilling the discs to the correct PCD.
In the past we have made some 294mm 2 piece discs and bells with a larger internal diameter on the bell so they fit , but works out expensive , we did these for a rally car to fit under 15" wheels. I can't remember off the top of my head what they fitted on the Spec C's destined to be rally cars Cheers Ian |
the "gravel spec" 114.3x5 PCD widetrack cars came with Subaru 4pots and 294mm discs BUT it is a specific unit and a regular WRX 294mm discs will not fit.............
we do have the correct fitment available |
