Hey all!

New to the forum and introducing myself, I have taken the plunge and bought my self a Wrx 300 limited edition Subaru blobeye.

After searching and viewing a few Subaru sti and wrx I just wasn't finding one that ticked all my boxes mainly due to poor owner ship of " so called mint example " so I took the trip to local dealer of Subaru and came back with this baby..

Wrx 300
2005 ( 55 )
73000 miles as on today
Full service history ( just had one on the day I got it from the guy )
Cambelt done at 56k

Tuning

-Remap
-Turbo back exhaust system
-Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
-K and N filter
-Dump Valve
-Lowered on eibach

So today Me and my brother have gave her a once over...

Snow foamed, 2 bucket method, auto sol exhaust, Tyre shine, Inside cleaned all cleaning products using autobright

Also ordered my first things for her....

-18" Ultralite Atec Alloys 18 X 8j et 45
-18" Vredestein ultrac sessanta Tyres x4
-Front lip Splitter
-Smaller Front Jap Plate 15" X 3.5"

That is a mint example mate looks very tidy:thumb:

Subaru wrx 300 30 January 2016 04:53 PM

Thank you. It is very very clean. I like to look after my cars to the very best standard as if it was brand new. Happy with the condition of it. Cannot wait for new wheels.

ZANY 30 January 2016 05:01 PM

What inch have you gone for and width pal out of curiosity ??

wrx300scooby 30 January 2016 05:05 PM

Hi and welcome to the forum. That is a very good looking example you have there, where did you buy it from? I have the very same car with only 19K on the clock, they do look great don't they. I'm only 10 miles from Doni so may see you around at some point:thumb:

What snow foam do you use? Ive never seen it sit as thick as that.

Peedee 30 January 2016 05:36 PM

Very clean! I've no doubt RS_Matt has banged one out over it already.

Also interested to know what snow foam you use. It almost looks 'too' thick, as if it just sits on the car?

Subaru wrx 300 30 January 2016 06:21 PM

Hi guys thanks for comments...

My brother did it for me he uses Autobrite blue magifoam, he rinses car before hand then Applys the foam.

225/40/18 for the tyre size and wheels are 18 X 8j

Yes mate not far I may look into meets am new to this forum so need to get to grips of it :)

ZANY 30 January 2016 09:31 PM

It's gna look monstrous :thumb:

Subaru wrx 300 30 January 2016 09:44 PM

Thanks pal, that's the aim ;)

I don't want a lot of massive power I like abit of power and I like it to look mint and bodywork I take pride in.

ZANY 30 January 2016 09:47 PM

Keep us updated:thumb:

Subaru wrx 300 30 January 2016 09:56 PM

Will do mate. It prob be next weekend now when my alloys are on and my plate and hopefully splitter also :)

Jonny Cut Corners 31 January 2016 01:52 AM

Out of interest, why did you pick the first 'mechanical' upgrade to be the front drop links?
Where they worn or are you looking for a handling tweak?

Subaru wrx 300 31 January 2016 07:13 AM

Driver side one is shot so makes sense replacing both mate

stonejedi 31 January 2016 07:44 AM

A very tidy example, looks like your going to take care of it properly.Good Stuff:thumb:.SJ.

Subaru wrx 300 31 January 2016 07:50 AM

Thanks bud. Yes mate. Like to proper look after my cars any little thing needs doing gets replaced and always cleaned with proper products. Hate it when people don't look after them. Was so frustrating looking for cars and bodywork was poor or poorly looked After in general.

ZANY 04 February 2016 07:35 PM

Both ways still looks mint now don't go doodling it:thumb:

Peedee 04 February 2016 07:53 PM

I'm about 70/30 in favour of the standard alloys. I think special editions should be kept standard looking.

Subaru wrx 300 04 February 2016 07:59 PM

Doodling?

The alloys was kerbed mate and tyres was cheap and nasty and had terrible tyre noise.
It was either refurb and get good tyres or do what I have and I always liked the these kind of wheels on scooby.

I also like the anthracite better than the gold.

south_scoob 05 February 2016 12:56 AM

Looks better mate :thumb: Gold wheels are the opposite to classy for me

Subaru wrx 300 05 February 2016 03:58 AM

Cheers mate. I like it. Think it looks really nice

Picking me new splitter up tomorrow so hopefully fit it tomorrow if not it will be Saturday :)

BBB3 05 February 2016 02:01 PM

Looks spot on with the new wheels.

Matt23 05 February 2016 08:48 PM

Looks good fella, although I think I prefer it with the standard wheels if I'm being honest.

Subaru wrx 300 05 February 2016 10:09 PM
