Is this Gaming PC a fair price?
Hello everyone,
I just wanted an honest opinion on this PC I'm selling. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2819131707...84.m1555.l2649 I think it's a fair price, how about you? Thanks :) P.S. I apologise if I'm not allowed to post eBay links, I only just signed up. |
mmm tough to call, good monitor, RAM (maybe mention the latency/speed?), vid card, CPU meh ;) SSD (what make?) But might have an audio/hware issue, that could mean the mobo has a problem, which puts me off, but overall yes, just.
If it had a recent intel core i5 cpu, i'd buy it... for parts :) |
Nit a bad price assuming it's in decent condition. If you do make sure you get the proper windows disks and code cos first thing I would do is hard format it and reinstall windows.

Personally i wouldn't spend £800 on something that has already got various issues, i'm not a fan of AMD cpu's either.
If that were me i'd sort out the issues before i listed it as you can't really expect someone to spend that kind of money on something that isn't working properly. |
Looks like a solid gaming setup, though if you're advertising it as a serious gaming bundle, I'd include details on the motherboard, RAM brand and speed and CPU cooler. Might also be worth adding brands etc. on the hard drives
The CPU may hold you back price wise. £800 is strong money for a rig based on 2012 tech. (I run an FX 8320 so not hating, Piledriver is just a bit long in the tooth vs. Intel). If the watercooler is a H100i, then a loud start up is normal. The fans spin up to max speed for the first few seconds then settle to the set RPM. Hope this helps! |
Hi there
Hard to say,I would say price is good, but all depends,CPU is not bad,I know several guys who prefer AMD CPU as they are sometimes better in some apps, for gaming people prefer Intel, but I've used AMD CPU or GPU without the issue for gaming, they're usually are cheaper than Intel counterpart Regarding H100,stock Corsair fans are very loud,I would replace them for Be Quiet or Noctua NF-F12,they on full revs are so quiet Hope this helps and good luck there Thanks,Jura |
