Coil overs fitted but unable to drop car to suitable height
 

Hoping someone can help with a query.

I have Proflex coil overs on my GDA (Bugeye) impreza WRX. I've just dropped the car on its wheels for the first time in a couple of years and find the suspension is ridiculous high ... the wheel arch is 5-6 inches off the tyre.

It was like this when I bought it but knowing they were adjustable coil overs I didn't think much of it.

I dropped the coil over adjuster right down to the maximum it will go this weekend but the car has only dropped an inch and still looks ridiculously high.

I'm beginning to think that the struts that are on the car maybe for a classic or some other model, would this sound correct or were the strut heights the same through out the range.

Really trying to not fork out on new suspension at the moment :cry:

I'll pop to the workshop this evening and take a few.

If you had classic coilovers on a bugeye it would be very low, specially on the back.
What you might have is a gravel setup.
