8inch, ET50 :)

ZANY 13 January 2016 05:00 AM

If you still have them mid Feb I'll take them cash on collection for my widetrack:thumb:

OK Mate if nobody else shows interest I'll be in touch in a few weeks.

I'm in no rush to sell so no danger of me taking a low ball offer in the meantime.

Smashing:thumb:
They are bang on for me as I don't want 18's or change the drivability of the car the tyres are sick if they go cool if they don't it'll be s nice drive to you pal thx:thumb:

Fonzey 14 January 2016 02:58 PM

No worries, and I know the feeling. I had 18" wheels on my car originally but dropped down to OEM 17's with these TD wheels as my track wheels. Drives loads better.

that's quite interesting as ive been looking for some 18's to put on it.would you advise against that then for drivability issues or was it personal preference?

byrnsie44 14 January 2016 04:16 PM

will these fit over the brembos on my 2012 Sti do you reckon?

ZANY 14 January 2016 04:54 PM

Aaai should fit over brembo so no probs but the standard width on yours is 8.5j wide if I'm right?? so might look bit narrow
For drivability these would be the best option as someone wise has quoted "17's for go 18's for show and 19's for bitches on there tiptoes:lol1: "
IMO very nice alloys if you can keep on top of them my last ones were white but 18 inovite tar macs wish I'd left the 17's on to be honest and since I've learnt my lesson but that's just me:thumb:

ryan51 14 January 2016 04:58 PM

sorry for jumping on your wheel thread kyle.

zany i was actually looking for some white inovit tarmas(in the near future) but you may have just changed my mind haha.

Fonzey 14 January 2016 06:48 PM

They fit over Brembo's yes, plenty of room - they actually leave more room than the OEM 17s.

Ryan, I'll reply to your email tonight :)

Arch 14 January 2016 10:04 PM

What size are the tyres?

Fonzey 14 January 2016 10:15 PM

225/45/17

scoobaholic 21 January 2016 11:50 AM

The TDs do look nice! I'm looking for something tough and light(ish) to replace my stock 17s. These look ideal. You wouldn't have a pic of them on your old car? I have a crystal grey blob, too.

Fonzey 21 January 2016 02:32 PM

Yep will post some tonight

ryan51 21 January 2016 08:34 PM

kyle-what suspension(drop)is that in the second picture???

Fonzey 21 January 2016 09:08 PM

Just normal I think mate, pulling mad G's through a right hand turn so it's compressed right down!

ryan51 21 January 2016 09:47 PM

looks very low.ive not driven it for a week now so looking forward to getting back in it. it looks quite low in those pics, looks good.

ryan51 21 January 2016 09:47 PM

repeating myself there!

scoobaholic 21 January 2016 10:04 PM

Dang! They look good on the car! Thanks for putting the pics up!
If zany doesn't buy I'd be seriously tempted.

Is it just me or do the TD's look much better in 17 than in 18??
