As some of you may or may not know I bought a bright yellow Go Mental jacket a while back. Its got a hardcore record label logo on the back which says "happiness is a label called" round a circular GO MENTAL logo... Well me and the rest of the boys had just arrived at a cruise in East London. The rest of the cruise had been dispersed by the bill and we were about to head off to Southend where the rest of the party people had gone. Before we did we headed into KFC to fill up. I went to wash my hands as they were filthy so I went into the bogs. I started washing me hands and this bloke who was taking a piss came over to the one and only sink after I had finished. He looked at my dayglo jacket and said "You the establishment then?" I replied
"What special limited edition "Go mental" establishment?" pointing to the logo on the back. He started reading it and then asked what it was. I said it was a record label. He started reading the bit around the logo and said "I like that. Happines is a label called Go Mental. I like that a lot. How much did you pay for it?"
"How much did you think I paid for it?" I replied.
"I dunno. 100?"
"No, 55."
"Tell you what I'll give you a ton for it."
I looked at him and he seemed perfectly serious. So I said yes.
We walked out the bogs together and he handed over 5 twenties and I took off the jacket. I asked him why he wanted it and he said that it was his 25th anniversary and he had just got back with his wife that he was celebrating it with. He was feeling happy and liked the style of the logo on the jacket. He paid for our food too.
Top geezer IMO. Only problem now is I am without a Go Mental jacket to wear to cruises and that just wont do. Still, not much of a disadvantage seeing as if buy another one then I'll still be 45 quid up! :):):):)
