Why the f*** have you got an iPhone, man??? I believe you hate Apple everything with passion?? Don't tell me it's a Christmas gift from Jack Clark! If it is, flog it on eBay, you don't deserve an iPhone.

:D

dpb 27 December 2015 10:16 AM

Got it in an Xmas cracker

One those joke ones

Sell it, then. You'll find many takers for it out there. As I said, you don't deserve one.

By the way, where's Jack? Have people got him banned again, for his Apple love?

Merry Christmas to you, Jack; wherever you are. :thumb:

I guess the phone could be worse:D

Wasn't expecting pop up ads to be a problem though !

It doesn't seem to occur as much using my Wi-Fi , rather than voda 4g :Suspiciou

Littleted 27 December 2015 04:39 PM

get an android and live in reboot hell.... and hung apps...

stevebt 27 December 2015 05:17 PM

I'm sick to death of that add as there is. No way of getting away from the add unless you just delete the web page. I thought I was getting it cause I'm roaming in California but looks like it's everywhere.

Scooby.Newbie 27 December 2015 05:20 PM

I have a BB, decent battery life, fits in my pockets and never have n issue with it. Use it for work email, texts and have even been known to phone people on it, am old school.

Pop up ads are a nightmare, drive me mad, seem to be getting worse no matter what you try to do to stop them.

dpb 27 December 2015 05:22 PM

would I have to resort to chrome

be slightly bizarre having bought an apple ?!

andy97 27 December 2015 05:37 PM

I rooted my Note 3, installed xposed, then a comprehensive adblockers. Absolutely nothing gets through. Just blanks where memory hogging adverts used to be. No pop ups either. Ditch apple as they don't allow adblockers :)

dpb 29 December 2015 03:06 PM

My goodness , another pop up on iphone which simply cannot be avoided in order to continue.
What a load of trash

Posted from alcatel mini , Android

dpb 29 December 2015 03:18 PM

Installed chrome. Couldn't be any worse, could it ?

Don't get how it's the iPhones fault maybe you should complain to the site that's allowing them on their site

hodgy0_2 29 December 2015 04:57 PM

Maybe we need a man like Trump, he has vowed to turn the internet "off"

ossett2k2 29 December 2015 05:01 PM

Ad blocker works on my iPhone,I use chrome but to get ad blocker from cydia it means jailbreaking the crapple :)

dpb 29 December 2015 05:27 PM

It's something also to do with this site , as Jack intimated a while back
I get drafted off to advert with chrome as well. But then straight to Apple's app store.! With that previous ad as well.

I'm just citing this didn't happen , at all, as I can recall with the lesser phone

ossett2k2 29 December 2015 05:40 PM

Yeh and we all know how this site loves it's bloody ads nowadays!!
That's why I don't pay anymore.
As soon as I turn off adblocker on the iPhone I get exactly what you're getting, adblocker back on and I get nowt :)
Of corse not everyone wants to jailbreak, but it's proper annoying how many ads we get.

JackClark 29 December 2015 08:46 PM

You don't have to jailbreak to use content blocking. Search the App Store, pick one install it and try it. I have acceptable ads enabled because sometimes they're handy.

dpb 29 December 2015 08:57 PM

personally no intention whatsoever to gamble online with William hill apple app

I didn't have to spend 79p either on android to potentially avoid this

ALi-B 29 December 2015 09:03 PM

The only websites I have issues with on the iphone are tabloid newspaper sites, sports sites and porn sites.

The same sites are even worse on a PC. The Daily Fail website is probably one the worst "legit" websites IMHO (if you can call the Daily Mail a legitimate newspaper :lol1: )

andy97 30 December 2015 10:06 AM

What's an advert :D

dpb 30 December 2015 10:58 AM

i tell you , maybe I'm biased and havnt discovered the benefits as yet but so far for the money its as I expected with iPhone , more cash for less diversity . it seems well built though which of course it should be for 720 QUID sim free
(although this is how much I paid all in with unlimited and 2gb for 24 months)

JackClark 30 December 2015 01:43 PM

Load of tosh.

dpb 30 December 2015 02:09 PM

looks that way :(
