SOLD 426/392 Modified JDM MY05 Blobeye STi needs to go to new home ..

As I am just not using her anymore it has come to that time when my trusted and totally enjoyable steed must move on to give someone else the enjoyment I've had over the 10+ years I've had her from new .

Price reduced again - so a real, real bargain for someone - SOLD - please.

Chris

Uprated Litchfield's Chrystal Grey Type 20 MY05 2.0ltr JDM widetrack Blobeye STi - 1 owner from new when bought direct from Ian Litchfield.
Sympathetic upgrades made and mapped by Bob Rawle to 426 bhp / 391 lbs torque on VPower and is easy to live with day to day ie not too much whiplash !
112,500 miles which have been mainly incurred on the motorway commuting on a daily basis over the 10 1/2 years I've had the car.
Due to change of working practices, it now sadly spends most of the time in the garage and is rarely used anymore (less than 2000 miles since MOT in May) and this is the only reason it is up for sale
I am sure there are others ... but these are what I see as the benefits / differences between a standard UK and JDM MY05 model -
Stronger 2.0 litre engine that revs up to 8k (as opposed to 7k in the uk model)
Folding door mirrors
Rear wash wiper
Higher 4th, 5th and 6th Gear ratios
Equal length headers for more power
MOT May 2016 .. Tax May 2016 .. Band K .. currently £290 pa Insured at a good price through Keith Michaels (Gary Moulson) with all mods covered
It has had regular servicing including cambelt etc by reputable Subaru garages ie Litchfields, Subaru4You and Veysports and I have a large file of receipts for all work undertaken.
The main additions to the already great spec car have been :
Lowered and adjustable AST suspension from new ... and subsequently refurbished with 4 wheel geometry set up.
Uprated Whiteline Anti roll bar and Anti lift kit
3" Stainless Steel Milltek Turbo back exhaust
Hybrid FMIC and larg BRD Induction Cone
Litchfield 800cc Injectors
3 Port Solenoid
Walbro 255 Fuel pump
Litchfield LM420 Twin entry Turbo
Uprated AP Racing Organic Clutch
Performance Friction Front Disks, and pads all round
Goodridge braided brake hoses
Prosport Oil pressure, Oil Temperature and Turbo Boost gauges and senders
Litchfield supplied Front Splitter
Litchfield supplied T20 Branded Carpet Mats and external decals
Litchfield supplied Mudflaps
Number plate starts T20
In last 2 years I have also had a replacement windscreen, radiator and battery.
Tyres are all 'as good as new' Goodyear Asymmetric 2's on 235/45 R17
There is a tow bar on it ... and this was purely to take garden waste etc to the tip in a little box trailer. It can obviously be removed if required as the bumper bumper not cut.
The car has been well cared for and it is good condition for its age and mileage .. Of specific note however are :
The rear nearside bumper had a bump years ago which has been filled and the bumper resprayed (along with the front bumper too as had lots of 'bug chips' in the paint)
At the edge of both headlights (which have been 'de-tangoed') there is a small scratch on one side and a stone chip on the other
There are some minor scuffing of the paint on the edge of the driver's door as well as a couple of small car park dings on the car and a few small stone chips on the bonnet
The driver's side outside seat bolster is starting to show some wear and tear as it gets rubbed up against as you get in and out, but is in OK condition.
There is competition grade gearbox oil in as it was just starting to get little crunches in 4th. These have now gone, although I do get a little stiffness going down into 2nd until the oil is warmed up .. after which everything seems to work just fine.
I have both keys and there has never been any finance on the car. It also has a tracker.
If the purchaser is interested, I also have a set of spare wheels with Winter Tyres on them .. as well as a 3" Milltek centre pipe including Cat .. that I intend to sell separately.
The car is based near Southampton and I am not desperate to sell, so please don't waste my time and yours unless you are really interested.
Any test drives will be at a location of my choosing and no-one will be able to drive the vehicle except me unless I see their driving license, photographic id, and an insurance certificate or cover letter that covers them to drive fully comprehensive.
The car will not be handed over until all monies have cleared.

It will be a shame to see this go Chris - especially after 10 years

Whoever buys it is getting a cracking car

Good luck with the sale

Cash please as I already have another car - two actually - and this sale (along with another) is a move to try to simplify this and address some of my outgoings - ie 3 lots of tax, 3 lots of insurance etc etc

Just to help move the car on .. I'll update the Ad and reduce the price a further £200 to £7,950 .. so a real bargain for someone.

Note - the car is not on Pistonheads any longer .. and later today I'll be putting on Gumtree ..

Chris
