Remember Zimbabwe land grab?

Well who would of thought of it that Scotland are basically proposing the same idea. With some 400 people owning most of Scotland ' s land. SNP's Nicola Sturgeon is proposing 1 million acre land grab for the public by 2025.

Imagine a Glaswegian townie farming the highlands? :D

And most of those enormous tracts of land are worthless moorland unsuitable for anything other than grouse shooting, stalking, fishing and walking, a good scource of income for the Scottish economy. But not if it's broken up into small bits. What a bunch of jealous idiots.

It's all about equality.
And when we have equality, we'll all be equally poor.
Apart from the politcal fat cats of course. Well how else would they retain a little superiority?

elgassi 12 November 2015 09:47 PM

a few of ''our lands'' rich owners are shown on here:
http://www.highlandclearances.co.uk/...nsscotland.htm

who know's maybe Tam fae Pollok and Jim fae the Raploch will be on the list in the years to come :)
so long as there's a bookie, boozer, McD, Sky sports and 'V'Power of course lol

Personally, I trust female politicians LESS than I do their male counterparts.

Wee Nicola looks a nasty piece of work to me, nothing to endear anyone to her......looks like Rab's Mrs.

Yup, funny how some always end up more 'equal' than others.

Here in zim the new source of income is flogging the place off to the Chinese . Unfortunately it's not filtering down, there's 3 day power cuts / up to 2 weeks no water in reasonable suburb Harare. Some people are taking advantage land was given them back , others are happy sitting back just showing off they have land ( back )

dpb 14 November 2017 05:41 PM

Troops being mobilized

could be the end The road for the Bob and Grace show

:luxhello:

Paben 15 November 2017 07:02 PM

Mugabe and Nkomo were very fortunate to survive assassination in the 70s. In retrospect it's unfortunate that they did.

alcazar 15 November 2017 07:25 PM

Are you aware that mugabe says E ba gum in reverse? His dad was from Doncaster....LOL

dpb 17 November 2017 05:51 PM

Theyve even run out of bond notes now ( legal currency only within the country )

The Who said it ages ago:

'Meet the new boss same as the old boss.'

Nothing will change. All his old cronies are still there and all of the same mindset. Emmerson Mnangagwa and his mates only forced the issue because they heard Mugabe wanted the leadership to go to his wife instead of him.He is a real charmer.Zimbabwe will probably end up even worse than before as is usually the case when corrupt dictatorships fail & the next nastiest bas*ard is in line to take over.
