I say ITV's Clive Tydsley (sp ?)is the best. Shame Ron Attkinson is his co...

I still get shivers down my spine when I hear "name on the trophy" and then "and Solskaer has won it" when he did the commentary for the 99 Champions League Final. :D

Not particully keen on Channel 5's commentator...

During the Argentina game who heard Trev Brooking say, with 5 mins to go,
"don't forget the Ireland game, you never know what can happen in injury time"
.........yeah,thanks Trev:rolleyes:

Alan Green on 5 live is the best, but as far a TV goes I think Martin Tyler & Andy Gray are an entertaining combo!

Barry Davies for me for his pure enthusiasm, Andy Gray (good of Sky to let him work on the beeb) on 5 live with Alan Green is tops as well.

Has anyone noticed how Jonathan Pearce has quietened down since his move to 5Live, I can see the meeting now "Now listen here old chap, this is the BBC we dont want any of that sensationalist screaming on our airwaves, the Queen listens you know" :D

The late Brian Moore for me too. IIRC, he died the morning of, or at least very close to, England's win over Germany. Such a shame. :(

He lived where I do, on the same private estate in Bromley/Orpington and I used to regularly see him walk past the house or at the shops.

Definitely one of the best.

After that, I guess its Motto. :)
