Turbo inlet pipe
Hi guys.
I recently bought a V (99) reg Impreza Turbo 2000 wagon. The person who had it before me took it to a dodgy mechanic and he made a small tear in the airbox to turbo pipe. I'm having a nightmare as I am not too mechanical savvy, I have minor knowledge concerning turbos. I'm informed it's a a standard td04 turbo. I understand an aftermarket induction kit could be problematic without remapping the ecu and not worth it at standard power levels. I can not find one second hand and I am just finding it confusing as there only seems to be WRX STI turbo inlets everywhere. The originals seem to collapse and degrade over time anyway. I can't spend a fortune as I am a student nurse. Anyone have any recommendations for me please? I am way out of my element at the moment. Thanks.:thumb:
