Does anyone know anything about this type R on ebay?

As per the title really, I'm half tempted to go have a look....but thought I'd see if anyone knew the car first?

Cheers

Did you buy it?

It's back up, interesting colour. I'd be having a look if it were nearer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-SUBAR...YAAOSwo0JWMqHd

Does look nice. Would look better with original stickers on the sides / foglight covers IMO

Looks very nice. No mention of mileage or mot so not the best ad. Lovely colour though.

Lack of specific details like milage, who the 'highly recomended specialist' is, why put new wheels on it if your selling it?

Always left running before turning it off mean he's clueless

be interesting to know when he bought the car

Thebeakster 01 November 2015 02:08 PM

Just phoned up. He's had it since 2012, hardly used it. It hasn't been mot'd for nearly 2 years. Once I heard that it was thanks but no thanks. Could be good but I'd never buy a car with no mot.

Ok so it had 111K on the clock at the last MOT which passed with just a warning on the disks.

However it does look to have been off the road for nine months or so. Prior to that there looks to have been no major issues

It used to belong to a guy called John Begley, his brother Mick used to own the Jun Super Lemon Gtr. The colour is Top Secret Gold but I can't remember if John had the car painted or it was imported from Top Secret Japan. I do know that when it attended our dyno day back in 2006 it didn't even make 300bhp when touted to make over 400..

The current owner had only had it ten days and os selling it on, that and the colour put me off by itself.
