On my second warrenty clutch and still getting bad judder in 1st. Not just cold but most of the time. New flywheel was fitted I believe at on of the replacements. Any other fixes been found by dealers for this ?

Dave. :)

If your car is coming up to its end of warranty then id suggest either a helix or ap clutch, roughly the same price as the subaru item but much better.
Check out WWW.Scoobymania.co.uk and see what they can do for you :D

Dave, I'm in exactly the same boat, my replacement parts juddered from new and the release bearing is also starting to scream again.
I intend to get another replacement just before the warranty runs out.

I had a P1 clutch and flywheel fitted to my old MY00 follow very severe judder, and a couple of weeks later it was doing it again!!!! Dealers reaction was "they all do that sir" which is totally un-acceptable. If they say "well it because all the power going through it" that is also crap. Does a RS4, Porsche etc do it. No they don't!!!

I have a RB5 WRSport now and that doesn't (touch wood) do it. Sideways old wagon (MY97 with 110k) didn't do it either!!

Tony,

Still well within warrenty !

Phil,

They are still investigating instead of the "they all do that".

has anybody got subaru to fit a non subaru clutch to see if it does fix it ?
