1. xpcobra (2005 Impreza sti 114.3 PCD) - Deposit paid.

Just about to leave deposit there, If the group buy doesn't reach 5 (which I hope it will)
Will the deposits just be refunded?

I'll take a set of the rear extenders and anti corrosion spray too.

Edited - deposit paid.

Much is the deposit? Interested

My bad I clicked the link. As above tho if you don't reach the minimum 5 what happens with deposit or is it just a gamble....

If we don't reach the minimum, I will refund the deposit in full.

But I think we would have no problem as we have 2 interests already over 2 days, and I haven't even posted this on the Legacy forum or the GT86/BRZ forum yet.

So I say we will have no problem getting this going.

Depends on what car and why, as we may or may not have the springs.
The springs rate we have been using been tried and tested, so I normally try not to change it.

But let me know what you are after, I am more than happy to help if I can.

Do I have to do it online or can I call yous?

Also, how much would the total price be for coilovers, extensions and the corrosion spray?

Cheers

Hi, This offer is only for the ZetaR range of coilovers. We have those springs 8/6 in stock for the springs change if you wanted. Normally we charge £50 for the change of four springs but for this GB it will be free of charge.

Hi Rich,
We don't have figures because every car is slightly different but you are looking at about 20-70 maybe more.

Hi Edwin,

It's more the Min drop I'm interested in to be honest, don't really want to lower the car much from standard,

Regards
Rich

Steve's Sti 24 October 2015 07:57 PM

How would these compare to my kyb and prodrive spring setup? Will it make it less or more crashy? Also is there any refund if not satisfied? Im mostly roads but doing more and more trackdays

Cheers
Steve

Both the GC8 and GD use MacPherson Strut suspension on the front and the rear.
And that mean you normally have a huge range of ride height adjustments.

You should be able to achieve close to standard ride height, at worst would be around -20mm which is on par with very mild lowering springs.

When it comes to comfort, it is always a personal preference so it is difficult to "gauge" what is more or less crashy.
Once a unit is used, we really don't offer a refund unless a unit is faulty, but we are always here to help if the suspension isn't doing what the owners want.

The MeisterR unit have quite a large damping adjustment range, so you normally will be able find an adjustments that you will like be it on the road or on the track.
Most of the time it is always a setting issue, at least I haven't had any complain from owners regarding a "crashy" ride on the MeisterR coilovers.

Payday bump

Steve's Sti 02 November 2015 12:59 PM

Does it look like this will go aheads as ill be after 5x114.3 with extensions and spray

Cheers
Steve

XPCobra 02 November 2015 02:30 PM

It's going to run for approx a month, Worst case scenario, You get your deposit refunded.

I'd imagine the groupbuy hasn't been more popular as most just imagine they will be the same as BC's.

I had never heard of them until a friend had asked me to install them on his accord type r(was zeta R's), Was that impressed with them that I want them for my subaru now. May even stick a set on my 330i e46 if funds allow in the future.

98typeR 04 November 2015 06:26 PM

Just paid deposit, although forgot to mention my forum name. Was billed to Laurie Myers.

I'd like them for a gc with the extenders please

TK-WRX 05 November 2015 09:03 PM

I would like a set for gc8 but don't want to wait a month to find out I can't have them
Id want them asap :)

Steve's Sti 05 November 2015 09:06 PM

Ill be in just need to do deposit tonight for 5x114.3 with extenders and spray

Cheers
Steve

Deposit paid 😀

XPCobra 05 November 2015 10:08 PM

Just two left now, TK-WRX if you stick your deposit in, then there's only one left and the GB is a go-ahead!

InTurbo 05 November 2015 10:18 PM

How do these differ for the equivalent BC Coilovers, apart from the colour and slightly different locking collars.

veerinder9 05 November 2015 10:24 PM

I can vouch for these coilovers. Excellent quality and handling is excellent and ride quality is good. Not crashy like the bc's. More comfortable.

XPCobra 05 November 2015 10:25 PM

Better suited Spring rates and valving, If your not interested why are you posting on a G.B?

MeisterR 06 November 2015 09:20 AM

Update: We have 3 deposits and 1 full payment already so a total of 4. We just need one more deposit/payment and we will dispatch as soon as it comes in.

We will keep this thread updated.
