replace standard 17" wheels with aftermarket 17" wheels

Hi guys, I'm looking at changing my standard wheels for another set, possibly oz ones. I prefer to keep the 17" wheels and tyre set up but think it will look odd if I don't lower it from previous experience. Anyone done this and maybe have pics?
