Good reliable sprayers.

Going for a full re-spray on my 01 Bugeye and wanted to know if anyone on here can recommend a really good reliable sprayer. Looking to pay around £2.5-£3k, possibly prepared to pay a little more if its for a truly top notch job.

Have it lined up to be done at start of November, but have been let down twice already by the same bloke and am concerned l may get let down again. Live on the outskirts of Hull. Any help greatly appreciated.

Scoobyclinic. They did pretty much all of my Hawkeye (bar the roof and boot) and did an excellent job. Appreciate they are a fair distance from you but it might be worth giving them a ring ?

Depends where you live, I have a friend who owns a paint shop and has done lots of high end cars, Ferrari's, old school classics, drift cars, few subarus.

In Sussex

Have a look at S H Restorations co.uk or on Fb.

Never used them before, but considering getting front end and bonnet re done.
Been following the page for a while on FB, work looks good.

Thanks for the suggestions, i will check them out

I'm in kent but would be willing to travel for a good body shop, I dont want to waste anyones time at the moment though as the respray will only be after i have moved and have a garage to tuck the car in.

just not cost effective to do,

average job about 60hrs, 2 weeks work if thats the only car in the building, the job doesnt even cover wages.

Fair enough, thanks for the answer

Still not going to pay great, remaps are £200 an hour (average remap £400 and two hours work?) and all you need to do is charge your laptop.
So the same 60 hours work will net you £12,000 and minimal outlay for materials.
A respray will have £500 worth of materials to pay for too

As stated, its cost,

Main dealers get £100 plus,

And the insurance want to pay £18
