Stinky gear oil removal
The mechanic put the old gearbox in the boot of the wagon and it's managed to seep everywhere.
Any ideas as to cleaning it up and de smelling it. Or should I just try and get 2nd hand boot inards? It's a wagon. |
Probably have to replace them mate, that stuff is ridiculously hard to wash away. I spilled some on the boot carpet of my Vectra work car years back, never got rid of it even after loads of washing.

I've had a good go but don't think it's worked. Who do you think would have the whole boot inards. Mattybr5@MB only does sti stuff now. |
Put a post in the wanted section and trawl the various for sale sections to mate. There's been a few wagons being stripped in there lately. Someone will have them!

Try white spirit, then wash with water and washing up liquid, lots of it.
