The fact that he even attempted to fit a strut brace to a 2ltr sport should answer that question.

BoozyDave 30 September 2015 09:21 PM

How thick do you need to be to think that it looks right?

:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

InTurbo 30 September 2015 09:31 PM

That made me giggle....how could anyone think that's fitted correctly. :cuckoo:

It looks kinda like the newage one from my car that hes 1\10 bodged on. ODD! cos the rest of the car dont look too shabby. Nothing a group of standard lights wouldnt fix

Not only has he put it on upside down he bent the brackets to fit one bolt in.
That takes some effort!!!! Apparently it's a lot more effort to look up a picture on the internet.

:confused:Wonder what else he has done

jaygsi 02 October 2015 07:38 PM

He would have been better removing the air box and fitting an induction kit, then he could have got strut brace on, its doing nothing like that.

GH80 02 October 2015 08:26 PM

its not going to make much difference upside down or not is it? agreed clean looking, but I bet those rear arches are in tatters :lol1:

no he wouldn't and it'd fit the right way up as is if he'd have had the sense to do it properly.

and to anyone banging on about the car being a 'sport' so it not benefiting from a strut brace, think about it :cuckoo: entering a bend at X speed (eg 70mph), it's still X speed regardless of whether or not it has 118bhp or 300 / 400 etc

Like you are going to feel the benefit over budget tyres, worn bushes and knackered shocks... could you actually feel the difference on a well sorted car? Completely useless on a 100k road car, all the wear and tear would negate this even if it was bolted in right.

Pross 02 October 2015 10:12 PM

See its got the full crap lights conversion, that brace just finishes it off.

south_scoob 03 October 2015 01:05 PM

The bar is the right way round. Hes swapped the ends over and bent them for some reason. My guess is that the holes diddnt line up propperly the right way up.
