Exactly what I'm after!

I have a 1997 Impreza Turbo 2000 with ABS. I want to remove the ABS completely as its downright dangerous.

What do I need and how much?

Hi,

No its not the greatest of systems is it.

Abs delete kit should see you right, a full kit for the impreza is priced at £165 plus £5.99 postage.

The kit will replace all existing hard lines except calliper lines, these are available seperately if you do not already have some.

piehole1983 28 September 2015 08:08 AM

Cool, I already have new braided caliper lines to go on sitting here so I'm ok that way. Do your lines follow the same route as the old hard lines?

Yes they do, although you can have a custom kit, routing a different way if you wish?

I happy with the normal routing. Hopefully it's not a torture to install! Is PayPal ok?

Payment details pm'd.

What colour kit would you like?

piehole1983 28 September 2015 07:34 PM

Sorry, busy day at work! Think I'll go for black like my caliper lines. I'll pop the payment over shortly.

Based in redhill, surrey and yes we can offer a fitted service, though its really not too bad of a job tbh, pm for details if you require by all means :)

piehole1983 28 September 2015 08:37 PM

You got any guides for the new pipework routing etc for when the ABS servo is removed?

Pro-Line Motorsport 28 September 2015 08:51 PM

The lines are labelled for easy install, it'll all make sense when you recive your kit ;)

JonMc 28 September 2015 09:31 PM

I've already deleted the ABS and used some hardlines; not the best install as we had to route the lines as we went so I just want a tider option. Does this set-up put a t-piece equidistant between the brakes on each side? What.s the scope to include a break for my bias valve which is attached to the drivers seat subframe (fixed buckets).

Cheers

Hi jonmc,

You wont get neater than these kits thats for sure, the spec for kit we make isnt equal no but i can make you one no problem, what with having the break for a bias it would be a good idea to mock it with string to the lengths you require, send me the string and the bias valve (or if you know the thread sizes)and il copy for lines. A method used by many of our customers.

That way you have a fully bespoke kit to your lay out. All it will cost you is an extra £10 for the break for your bias..

JonMc 28 September 2015 09:59 PM

I'll do some measuring once the engine is out and let you know. There's a couple of other tweeks that I need to account for (removing the spare wheel well etc).

Final question for now - how do you manage the connection to the master cylinder - is it a banjo bolt or a threaded end on the line?

Thanks for that, looking forward to getting the kit!

Pro-Line Motorsport 28 September 2015 10:09 PM

Its usually a banjo, if youd prefer a male straight or 90, thats no problem, let me know which or both :)

Banjo is fine, male straights for the t-pieces and the bias valve - may even update that too:wonder:

Cracking value, any problems with brake bias? Ie locking the rear wheels before the front?

Pro-Line Motorsport 02 October 2015 08:19 PM

Very good value for money yes!

Should be fine on bias, masters are always split front and rear and they are never equal pressures, usually carry a residual valve. We sell alot of 200sx kits and actually fitted one recently, the brakes locked up the wheels everytime with the abs (which is equally as bad as the subaru abs) must be a jap thing! removal kit just stopped the car no lock up and the pedal feel was soooo much nicer!

piehole1983 03 October 2015 05:15 PM

Kit arrived today, looks very well made with quality stainless fittings. Thanks!

Any guides to identify which pipe is which?

Pro-Line Motorsport 03 October 2015 09:36 PM

Glad it turnt up ok :)

Totally forgot to tell you, labelling machine died on me so couldnt label your kit..

I will pm you now.

piehole1983 03 October 2015 09:38 PM
