Driveshaft differences?

Hi there.
I purchased a reconditioned bug wrx gearbox for my 05 wrx wagon and my mechanic just called me to say the front drive shafts are different?
Is there anything that can be changed or do I need to buy different driveshafts.
Cheers.
Both codes are the same just one number different.

If it is just the half shafts that are different that's no worries

If you have male stub axles. And female shafts remove the stub shafts from the old box long with the seals in the box and refit to your new one. Make sure to get the seals as it won't work else.

And vice-versa for the other way round you'll just need male ended shafts.

I know it works for the 6spds. Can't see why it would be different for 5spds

The guy I bought the box off has sent out the driveshafts from the bug the gearbox was fitted too.so hopefully that will be it.

Unless you change the seals it will not work.
