Recommendations for diesel remapping in cheshire area.

Right guys, I've got a VW amorak and I'm looking to have it remapped with a egr delete at the same time, can any recommend a decent place in the cheshire area to do this. I want somewhere with a proven track record in diesel tuning and with Dyno facilities.

Thanks Tim.

Worth giving Prosport in Stockport a ring.
They have a dyno too.

Near you... sort of. I'd go to Motorsport Developments (owned by Stu the admin on here) in Blackpool. The also have an awesome looking dyno cell.

I've had them remap a Diesel of mine.... it went like badgers doo doo off a teflon shovel.

Sounds good to me, definitely want someone with a proven track record of mapping diesels. Might just give him a nudge and see what they can do. Wud be nice to have somewhere a little closer but I'm sure I could make a day of it. ;-)

Thanks Tim.

Well.... I travelled to him from Warwickshire. Like 150+ miles each way. It's local for you in comparison. :D

Try VAG, they do mapping - apparently

Not sure I'd be rushing out remapping a diesel now - with all the focus on emissions (diesels specifically) I can see emissions spot checks with a big fine in no time at all, and remapped cars will obviously emit more than that model without the map.

Could become a real government cash cow.
