Was a good win for England in the opening game, but the team were sloppy in mid game. Redeemed themselves in the end, well done England!! :luxhello: Credit to Fiji, they played well giving our boys a good run!

JTaylor 18 September 2015 10:12 PM

Yes a great result. You're packing? Just leave it to the missus cos, believe me if anything is missing when you arrive it WILL be your fault. I haven't packed for the last ten/twelve years. Where are you bound JT?

Lol, I get lumbered with the packing too, my Mrs is useless at it, which is a bit strange considering she spent half her working life as a tour guide traveling the world. :Suspiciou

I remember when England won the Rugby world cup, I was really happy and I'm not even into Rugby, it does give that feel good factor when the nation does well.

But was it really that long ago, how time flies.

andy97 19 September 2015 07:23 AM

I'll be there at the final with my lad and a bunch of mates :D

That seems like yesterday , I guess I'm not a true follower but it slightly amazes me how suddenly johnny Wilkinson seemed to disappear. ( after essentially winning us everything )

He didn't exactly disappear. He came back from several injuries in the years after 2003, to score all 12 points in the quarter, 9 of 14 points in the semi, and all 6 points in the 2007 final :thumb:

He was still in the squad for the 2011 world cup and remains our highest points scorer, by some margin :notworthy

Japan are giving the Springboks a good run for their money, great game so far! :luxhello: Rooting for the underdogs, c'mon Japan!!

Scrappy9 19 September 2015 06:25 PM

Wilkinson latterly played his club rugby in France only retired 12 months ago, as he played abroad he wasn't selected for England national team.

He won everything at club level including European Championship (twice l think) he pretty much ran the show and unusually was hero worshiped by the French.

Can't believe what Japan are doing, level 10 minutes to go - what a great game :)

jonc 19 September 2015 06:51 PM

:luxhello: Well done Japan!! Unbelievable, what an upset, fantastic effort great game, a well deserved victory over the two time world champions!

Dave Y 19 September 2015 07:02 PM

A good first half for England, some mistakes made by the other team.

b3nmw 26 September 2015 09:01 PM

Come on Wales

wrx300scooby 26 September 2015 09:55 PM

Oh bugger. Hard lines England:luxhello:

CrisPDuk 26 September 2015 09:56 PM

One day this England team (and it's the whole team, from the captain down) will learn that it's their p!ss poor discipline that is costing them the big games

sniffmydiff 26 September 2015 09:58 PM
