it'll be a cat-back system. so when replacing you'll need to buy a cat back rather than just a backbox

All UK Sti's i've seen have had twin exhausts, ie exit both left and right side! I assume JDMs only have single exit then?? :wonder:

all the single exits ive seen are on r/h side my car here in the picture exits on l/h i have no idea perhaps it has an aftermarket cat back system on it i wnt take delivery for another 8-10weeks

The cut out is there on the right side, just blanked off. You may find its a cover that'll just pop off, at worst you'd have to trim it out. You could run twin exhausts then ;)

tbh it looks like a stainless aftermarket box anyway!
