Bugeye wagon roof bar delete and bonnet

Greetings

This probabily has been asked a thousand and one times but I'm looking at removing the roof bars off my wagon, I'm trying to find the parts without much luck. Does anyone happen to know somewhere to buy them (not from subaru dealer) or happens to have the roof mouldings knocking about.

Also trying to a find a wrx or sti bonnet with scoop if anyone happens to have one knocking about, preferably in silver.

And what would be a nice way to make a wagon stand out from the rest without putting mental parts on?

Cheers in advance for any advise

Dan

I'm also interested in doing the roof bar delete! :-)

My body shop place said they would remove them and filler the holes. But there has got to be better way!

As far as I'm aware you will have to fill the holes, most people use silicone because it's bolted through the roof. As far as a better way I wouldn't be able to say until I get the parts and start cracking on with it

I haven't looked at prices and availability for these parts yet, but I am looking and removing mine next week

Depends on what you have already, of course, and tastes vary. But, if I had my time over again, this is what I would tell myself to get done styling wise, in no particular order:

Prodrive front end/wing conversion
Carbon side markers and delete the orange side indicators for white
Decent headlights - HDI jobbies
Some nice quality wheels that add something - I like PFF7's personally
Avoid the huge scoops - keep to a bug Sti one
Decent coil overs/springs to lower it slightly
Quality set of flaps

There may be more bits but those are the ones that jump to mind.

Enjoy the wagon.:thumb:

Cheers buddy!

Like your thinking, I'm after a nice set of alloys. Also been hunting for a new bonnet with sti scoop in silver, but every single one so far has been sold :(
