Upgraded my Camera

Well its been a fun 6 months with the Lumix FZ1000 and i can honestly say one of the better Cameras ive ever used, even though its a bridge.

I finally took the plunge into a proper interchangeable lens and went Micro Four Thirds with the Olympus EM5II.

I have a selection of Lens also

12-40 Pro Lens ( Equiv 24/80 FF )
75-300 ( Equiv 600MM FF )
45MM F1.8 prime for portraits
14-40 Pancake lens for ease and fun
60MM Macro for errr Macro :)

Love it and the quality is very very good, loving Macro at the moment and focus stacking.

Was going to go Full Frame but ive been messing with my dads and cost of ownership is a lot, a 600MM lens none Tamron is 10K LOL and just heavy, to the point id probably sack it off and not bother.

The EM5II is small retro and ticks the box, I'm hoping the next announcement November from Olympus give me a firmware update for Focus stacking and also the EM1II which i will buy for the body only.

back to Full Frame I'm waiting on to see what Nikon release in relation to a D810 or D820 before i take the plunge, but if Olympus up their game to 20mg like Panasonic i,ll stick with them.

I did consider Fuji XT1 but limited on the lens front.

Seems like a costly upgrade when you admit the fz1000 was great. Surely you dont take that many pictures to justify your spend?
