Options for watching the next F1 race in Greece?

I have an ipad and can access Sky Go but it looks like Sky Go can't be used abroad for live TV :(
On the assumption that my resort has no love of F1 where will I be able to pick up the race on the iPad?

Poor holiday planning

Youre in the actual sunshine this coming week and youre fretting over missing potentially the most tedious 'sporting' spectacle known to man

Sun + Beer and F1 - suits me just fine :D

Sure it's possible, if you google it - maybe accessing it via a UK based proxy.

Buy a sling box

You hook it up to your sky box / other. Cable it to PC. Run the setup software and you can view your live home TV / recorded programmes as if at home. Can set things to record or delete recordings just as if sat in your home.

Buy a small tin of paint.Dab it on the wall & watch it dry.

or,if you want the actual live coverage of the race it goes like this:

Action during the race:None.
Result:Hamilton wins.

:lol1::lol1::lol1: Too true!

I'm in Cyprus this week, but I'm still going to pay £6.99 and watch it on NowTV.

Been watching F1 for 41 years. And even though it seems that's how long each race last nowadays, it's too late for me to stop now...

hodgy0_2 15 September 2015 10:54 PM

I haven't really watched F1 since the James Hunt punditry days

But I always thought that qualifying was much more exiting,

Is that not still the case?

SouthWalesSam 16 September 2015 12:53 PM

Sadly, that’s generally true these days.

The track designs are appalling with little scope for overtaking.

The one exception is when you get a flash thunderstorm at the Spa Francorchamps race. Then it’s all hell let loose and you actual get a race where you can’t easily predict the outcome.
