tyre pressure?

hi i have a p1 and have just brought some yoko ad08 21545 17s,what tire pressure sound i be using? ive read 36front 34 rear(powerstation recommended i think) but the chemix garage who recently aligned it recommended 35front 26rear.anybody know?

34 front and rear for the last 8years, on 215/40/17 perfect wear right across the tyre no high n low spot's every time :thumb:

ok thanks,are 215 45 17s ok to use on a classic?

yep no prob's i believe the p1 was fitted with them as std, softer ride for uk road's :thumb:

the original size for the p1 was 205/45/17 not 215/45/17?

won't make any difference worth getting excited about, 205/40/17 have been on mine and are just a harder ride that's all, 215/40/17 don't rub at all even when the car is lowered, so i can't see 215/45/17 rubbing on a std ride height car, all they will do is soak up the bumps better due to the deeper wall's

ok cheers mate...will the tyre pressure stay the same 34/34 even though the tyre size is different?

madscoob 12 September 2015 07:56 PM

imho the only difference may be a small amount of side wall flex with your's being 45 profile, there is no way i would run 26 rear unless you want to do some hardcore drifting after the rear has broken traction due to to much tyrewall flex
