Ah that will be the stylus that Jack laughed about with Samsung's S-Pen. But now Apple have thought it's a good idea it must be revolutionary :lol1:

You're comparing the iPad Pro to the Shamshung Note? I certainly don't want a stylus on my iPhone 6+ that's still silly and not offered by Apple. I might not want one with an iPad Pro and I certainly don't have to buy one.

An0n0m0us 10 September 2015 12:00 PM

You shunned it as old and unnecessary tech yet Apple are now playing catch up with it.

dpb 10 September 2015 12:39 PM

making light of chinese accent Jack

That's a bit shallow

Umm, no I didn't. They're still rubbish on a phone. This isn't a phone.

o now your saying it was just on phone it was bad,,,,, changing the goal posts again eh

makes me crack up, apple the only company that say somethign is crap, its worshipers agree, they then change there and mind and the worshipers do to :lol::lol::lol::lol:

JackClark 10 September 2015 01:34 PM

For one, I doubt I ever brought it up, for two Steve Jobs said it 8 years ago when it certainly would have been a fail.

I'll say it again, a stylus on an iPhone 6+ is silly, a stylus on a Shamdroid Note is silly.

From post #66 onwards :lol1:

And the S-Pen isn't just on the Note 4 it's on the Note range so also the Note 10.1 tablet.

What does it offer over a Surface?

of actualy real benefit, feck all lol

but jack will make some comment about something lol

andy97 10 September 2015 02:29 PM

But social media users quickly circulated comments made by Steve Jobs in 2007, when he scoffed: "Who wants a stylus?"

In 2010 he also poked fun at his rivals' attempts to imitate iPad, saying: "When you need a stylus, you already failed

Oops mocking is admitting I wish we had those features

I've heard the Surface is a pretty good device, new one out soon. For me the biggest benefit is it's not running Windows, or OS X for that matter. I'd also miss iCloud features, I know most of them can be replicated on Windows, but it's not a matter of adding your username and password.

That was 5 years ago and I agree with him the devices were not big enough to justify a stylus.

Tidgy 10 September 2015 02:42 PM

he never mentioned size,,,,,,,,,,,,,, hahahaha.

I think it's safe to say he was talking about the device in his hand.

I've been looking into the Pencil, wow, still not sure I need one but that's some great tech.

hux309 10 September 2015 07:39 PM

Heard it all now......

Littleted 11 September 2015 08:45 AM

dpb 11 September 2015 08:53 AM

It won't be real rubber it'll be something concocted from elements hitherto unknown to man and consequently worth double, whilst costing half

Durrrr. Obviously, social media looked up his comments, then regurgitated them. You know comments like

3.5" is the perfect size for a apple phone :D

Apple have been playing catchup for years

So you understand how being dead works? So you understand how quoting Steve Jobs over something he wasn't physically able to design would be a little silly?

JackClark 11 September 2015 01:06 PM

Let them crack on Neil, it's hilarious.

This one is great.

"3.5" is the perfect size for a apple phone"
They'd would rather have heard Steve say...

"3.5' is the perfect size for the iPhone, it doesn't work but the numbers are big so some twats will be happy. We're also launching a 3.5" version that works perfectly, take your pick"
