Tunnel Run 2015
Hello all.
A few of us are wondering if your planning a tunnel run for the end of October this year. Andy. |
I've seen and nothing on the subject buddy. Facebook pages included.
I fear it may be a bit too late to rush a decently planned run to keep in sync with the previous annual runs that have been organised. |
There is a tunnel run organised by a few Facebook Impreza groups for the 25th October.
It's a real shame to see the gradual rotting away of the ESC SN page since the name change and new 'direction' the page went in, turned to many members away. Anyway last year was probably the last 'official' tunnel run. |
Come on lads we need to do a run. !!!!!!!!!!
|
Well, there is a tunnel run at the end of October, its on 1 of the FB pages(I dare not say the name of the page).Thats all Im saying....(takes cover)
|
That's a huge shame. The ESC tunnel run was the highlight of the year.
Come on boys and girls lets do one more. |

If you have an issue with that. I'd highly suggest not attending. |

Had this last year which spoiled the event for a few people. |
Sorry Andy, don't think there will be an ESC organised one again.
The police are much more interested in the Thurrock area nowadays and practically the whole route is governed by average speed cameras. The concept just wouldn't work nowadays. It's a real shame because, as you know, we had people travel from all over the country to come and attend. We arranged for merchandise and dvd's and broadly speaking the driving standards were excellent. We appreciated the support and donated thousands to charity as a result. It's heartening to know that it's still thought of as the event of the year, appreciate your support Andy :thumb: |
This is a huge shame but understand where your coming from. A couple of us came down from Cumbria for your event many years ago.
Was always a fantastic atmosphere at the event and I'd like to thank yourself and everyone else who made these events happen. Andy. |
I used to make the journey down from cumbria when ESC Organised it. it was epic but these days the likes of facebook groups have too many undesirables who ruin the event for everyone.

Just a heads up there is going to be a bigger police presence round lakeside in the next few weeks. So if your on the tunnel run just behave around there.
|
Is there definitely a tunnel run for subaru in October I've not been to one yet and I'm looking forward to attending one.

I'm not sure if I'm working yet but if not I'd be up for it. I'm not too far away from there so know a quiet spot people could meet before heading down together? |
