Back in a Scooby thanks to CutMasterT

After being paid out for my stolen Impreza I was on the look out for another.
Keeping a keen eye on the forums I saw one come up for sale, one of the good members on SN CutMasterT put his nicely modified V3 STI.
It was a little over my budget and a 600 mile round trip but that didn't put me off!
So I set off Saturday morning on the train,as soon as I saw the car I knew it was for me :) lovely looking car with some great upgrades,I'm not a big believer in fate but the number plate was practically the same as my old one which is a bit freaky!
CutMasterT is a genuinely nice guy and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you pal,an enthusiast and the car is a credit to you :thumb:
So I set off back on my journey home, not on a train but a car that certainly pulls like one! WoW I've not stopped grinning since Saturday afternoon :D
The car drives really nice,it's going to be my daily but I'm really tempted to do a track day or two. It's an estimated 390Bhp but I'm sure it's capable of a little more,I think I might get it on a dyno after I fit the 3 port boost solenoid and give it a little map tweak. I'm not really too fussed on the figures and for me it's the way it drives which is more important, never had a car on the dyno tho so would be nice to see it done.
Car is a V3 STI
Forged Graham Goode engine(done in 2008 with 25k miles since rebuild)
JDM 6 speed conversion(rebuilt and feels like new)
SC42 twin scroll conversion(pretty rare?) not seen many twin scroll classics.
FMIC
ESL with Motorsport pack
3" cobra decat to 5" exit(neighbours aren't impressed lol)
and the all important brake upgrade..
6 pot SC front and brembo 2 pot rears.

Cheers
Rich

Here's a couple of pics,,it is going to have one or 2 changes,I've been told the orange sidelights are not legal so will be putting clear back on.
And the number plate isn't legal so will have to find somewhere to mount it so as not to block the FMIC too much.

Was a pleasure to meet you too Rich, glad you like it buddy, and I'm glad its gone to a true enthusiast!

I miss the car already, my 306 is sooo slow hahah

If you do decide to track it, then it might be worth fitting a thermostatic oil cooler.

There's plenty of headroom for more boost, be interested to see what you get out of it.
Enjoy it dude :)

Lol nice. The simple stuff is always the best. I would buy a 2nd steering wheel which won't fit and leave it by your keys ;)
