Nah £25.50 from jennychem, this is half the price but in a 200l container,

You wanna be putting 12lt in a 60lt tank then fill up...mine takes 10 as its only a 50lt tank

Banny I have some spare bricks at home and could build a purpose built bunker for it...:lol1:

Sounds like a plan :norty:

I see you can buy a 1000ltr for £459 ! Simple maths 45p per litre ....can you run a car on pure methanol ?

That's 16.6% not 20%. 60l of fuel, of which 10l is meth, so 100*10/60 = 16.6%.

Important thing is to use the same mix as it is mapped for; or use a flex fuel sensor and an ECU that supports it :)

Once you have settled on a mix (e.g. 12l in the tank, then brim the tank) if you always follow that same regime (e.g. always add 12l and always brim) the methanol percentage does remain the same :thumb:

That's only if filling up from scratch...

If you're running it all the time and have 10l of fuel left (say just before fuel light) that 10l will have 8l V-Power, 2l methanol.

Drop in 10l meth, 40l V-Power (or fill) and you will end up with the 20% mix of 12l meth and 48l V-Power.

But yes, the first time you fill up 12l meth in the tank and brim. Thereafter, 10l meth and 40l V-Power to keep the ratio at 20%. Putting 12l into each tank when already running meth will result in too high a meth mixture.
