I'm a quarter of a Centry year old.

Today's my birthday and I'm now a quarter of a Centry . Does anyone else feel old? No marriage or kids yet (thank goodness) so I've still got a while to go! :lol1: For today I have some old Uni friends coming to stay this weekend and we're off go-karting later today which I'm really looking forward to followed by a BBQ :). My girlfriend has been nice to me this morning too :norty:.

Turbohot 22 August 2015 12:09 PM

Happy birthday, young man! :luxhello:

Just remember it's all downhill from 25 on. :D

Turbohot 22 August 2015 12:20 PM

Also, you're a good one for being a Leo-Virgo cusp. I don't really believe in zodiac labelling, but I have to say that for an awkward Cancerian like me, not all but most Leo-Virgo-Libra peeps have turned out to be astonishingly tolerant and understanding toward me, so I have genuine gratitude for them. :D

Just a nipper: Wait 'til you've hit 30, then the "oh f**k where has my life gone?" thoughts start kicking in.

If you can manage 35 with no marriage/divorce/kids, I'll buy you a drink :thumb:

LOL very good! :D I've had two out of the three you mention before hitting 24 and one happened before hitting 35. At least I could say where my life had gone. ;) :D

ALi-B 22 August 2015 07:04 PM

So, would you like a Shiraz or Sauvignon?

(personally, I can't stand the stuff; Hail to the ale :lol1: )

Dirk Diggler 75 22 August 2015 07:49 PM

Even Liebfraumilch Pfalz at £2.99 for 75cl 9.5%vol from Aldi would do, man. I'm not pretentious. :D

The only thing this thread needs is pics of the missus!

Happy birthday mate!

LSherratt 24 August 2015 08:18 AM

Thanks everyone :) Had a great weekend

pimmo2000 24 August 2015 08:36 AM

I remember being young enough to think 25 was old ..

That said I'm only 33 next month.

Turbohot 24 August 2015 07:33 PM

I don't regret getting on, nor do miss being 25. What was so great about it?? Um, let me think. Nothing which I don't have, now. Ok, I could wear skimpy clothing and get away with them at 25, but do I give a .......... to that, do I fekk! I'm fine with my pipe, slippers, full pyjamas accompanied with me dressing gown and Horlicks to drink before bed. :D

We all get old, our youth isn't in our control to stay forever with us. Even Sharett will grow old, grey and bald one day, and his teeth will drop out. Yes, much later than many of us, so what. He will also have upcoming younger generation to make him feel ancient, then. ;) :D

Is that offer open to everyone born on 22 August? If so you owe me a pint! :D
