Spec C engine in v3-4 classic questions?

Hi all!
I've bought myself a spec C engine a while ago, modificated my v4 inlet to get it fit on this engine wich is all fine atm.
I have allso blocked the oil channels from the avcs since i was not using them at that moment.. So i removed the avcs pulleys, and used standard ones.
Now i rebuild that complete block with new pieces, and i'm not sure wether if it can harm the engine to run it like this again on my standard v3-4 ecu..
I've got an alcatek heading my way soon, so i'll be having my mapping session afterwards. I just wonder if its good to drive it like this for a little while till i got my other ecu, so i can drive it to a tuner :)

Hope somone can tell me something more! don't want to risk my engine now :)

Im in the process of getting a spec c block put in my v3 type r but we are putting my v3 sti heads back on after they have been refurbed and skimmed , i will be using my standard ecu until ive got enough money to go to Mr Andy Forrest for ESL fit and mapping .

It will need a check on the rollers at an absolute minimum before you go driving it at all.

As long as you keep the same inlet manifold it should be fine, bbut you will need an AVCS loom etc to run the AVCS with the alcatek, along with the upgrde for the alcatek....
