Any Richard Burns Tributes Planned?

On the 25th November it will be 10 years since we lost the only English WRC champion, Richard Burns.
5 years ago I came up with the idea and arranged it with help from Richard Burns Foundation and Jackie at Prodrive called 'Remembering Richard'. It was a fantastic day with a great turn out.

Has anybody got an event planned or heard of any events to celebrate Richard's life and achievements?

That was a great day. I found my copy of the magazine a few weeks back whilst clearing out stuff ready to move house. Sat there reading through it for an hour instead of doing what I was supposed to haha.

Well done for helping to organise mate.

It would be nice to mark the anniversary with another event at Prodrive but I'm not sure when their new premises will be ready for the public?

Sounds like a fantastic idea. I own a RB5 and have like many experienced has seen what the awful illness does to people.

I'd like us to keep remembering Richard and it would be great if we could raise money for the Richard Burns Foundation.

Went on part of the Richard Burns run - Bristol to Newbury and then up to Prodrive - so feeling old that it will be 10 years since his death.....certainly would be interested in any event that's happening

Sad if nothings planned,he was a much better man and champion than that ballsack mcrae.
Richard died of an awful disease, yet the sweaty sock killed himself his kid and another family being an idiot.

RB5_390, surely someone on the RB5oc has organized something? or at least mentioned it

If they haven't got anything planned, why not? Could you put a post on there about organizing something? (I'm not on there)

well said Dan, blunt but true :thumb:
