vob. dvd format - best player ??

Hi

I wondered if anyone can advise a good vob. player for the PC

My wife has a set of fitness dvd's which are vob. format they used to play just fine on our old pc through Windows Media Player but they wont play on the new PC, I spent a few hours going through multiple links for codecs for WMP and stand alone players, most of which come bundled with a load of crap I dont want or were riddled with bugs (or so Norton said).

Can anyone advise a safe stand alone player of a set of codecs that wont screw up the new PC

Any help appreciated, she's on my case

yeah Use VLC and open up the Video_TS folder, failing that copy the folder local and do the same. Or convert it with something like WOndershare

VLC plays everything bar corrupt files

Media Player Classic Home Cinema is very good as well. Seems to play more stuff than VLC

Doesn't have the Nvidia bug & blacks are better.

More forgiving on a low spec PC
