Oh no... not good.
 
Just found this while preparing the engine for the replacements parts. Normally this would be no problem soldering or crimping but it broke right behind the connector.

Bad picture I know but the problem is a broken wire to this solenoid that is related to the fuelsystem. Quite frankly I am unsure what it does exactly but I am sure it's important. Anyone know a solution? Usually I would simply solder it or crimp it but there is no way I can do that with such a short bit left on the connector side.

The pins that sit inside the clip can be removed using a pin to gently push down the securing clip that holds them in place. You can then cut the wires back accordingly and re attach to the pins.

Or failing that but a new clip - breakers will have some, then just crimp up the wires to the new clip.

I had same issue with coolant temp sensor clip - I managed to re crimp the wires to the pins, but I ended up replacing the whole clip which was easier and less fiddly.
