Form or function, your call.

imprezagaz 12 August 2015 08:44 PM

Wheels. Then save up for a Alcatek or syveccs:thumb:

Remap as it will increase the pedal/smile ratio lol.

I would sooner spend money on mechanical aspects than a new set of alloys. Plus the standard alloys on a blob sti look pretty good imo.

Proper wheels and tyres, not Ditchfinders/stretched/stanced shi*e, will help to get any power down. You can map your car to the limit but not be able to use it.

Get the essentials first.

Brakes?

yabbadoo4 13 August 2015 12:08 AM

remap! brembos are fine just get better pads for the power hike.

Sorry, missed that it was a STI. Some sticky tyres and a remap then?

Ste333 13 August 2015 08:01 AM

depends what your wheel budget is :)

MattyB1983 13 August 2015 09:46 AM

Does the car need mapping then ???
Have you fitted parts and now require it mapping ??

ill be fitting a decat downpipe on the day of mapping, already decatted the rest.. probably have an uprated fuel pump fitted too.

still undecided on which route to take, I may get wheels first then sell my standard sti ones and put the money towards a remap a little later on.

Godspeed doing the wheels you want now
899 with tyres 17"
but they do 18" as well

stevebt 14 August 2015 10:14 PM

Wheels, Unless you are changing lots of parts the remap isn't that important.
