win scrappy

anyway roll on Saturday

will be there with my two boys

An0n0m0us 22 October 2015 06:52 PM

Yep that Costa could turn out to be a great player, still has a long way to go to be better than Robben and Ribery in my view and nowhere near Ronaldo but he looks to have a lot of developing to come.

hodgy0_2 24 October 2015 08:11 PM

Good win

But you have to laugh at the Everton supporter in speedos and a swimming cap

An0n0m0us 24 October 2015 09:51 PM

Yep although annoyed at the goal conceded being that lax after how we defended against Bayern and it was the Ox losing the ball in front of the Everton goal that lead to it. They can't afford to be that lazy.

:lol1: at the speedos nutter http://lebuzz.eurosport.co.uk/viral/...g-trunks-6067/

Yeah, The OX did do a few wayward passes

The blocked shot was unfortunate

I have a pic of the guy from across the stadium - will post a bit later

Mean I know but the biggest cheer came when the tannoy announced the cancellation of the 8.pm Euston to Liverpool ttrain

hodgy0_2 05 December 2015 07:10 PM

good result, if not performance

and great results all round this weekend

An0n0m0us 09 December 2015 11:49 AM

Tough game tonight though, Wenger needs to buy in January.

hodgy0_2 09 December 2015 05:54 PM

yep, come on the gunners

An0n0m0us 09 December 2015 09:35 PM

What a result tonight and what a turnaround by Campbell as until tonight i've said he wasn't a premiership player.

hodgy0_2 09 December 2015 09:42 PM

Yes the tickery in the box and the final pass to Giroud was class

And a clean sheet too - petr Czech looks more and more like a great buy

Lillyart14 10 December 2015 01:10 AM

First hat-trick for Giroud too. Always rated him personally.

hodgy0_2 10 December 2015 08:02 AM

Yes he is a bit of a conundrum, looks awkward on the pitch - has a very weird running style (upright)

But is very effective, and crucial for a striker - knows where the goal is

And what you often don't appreciate on the TV is just how big he is

In fact that goes for quite a lot of modern players - they are enormous - even Ozil is huge

hodgy0_2 13 December 2015 09:28 PM

:)Get fvcking in

Say

We are top of the league , we are top of the league :)

An0n0m0us 14 December 2015 04:44 PM

:lol1: at that being sung and to make it even sweeter the spuds got beat by Newcastle :lol1:

An0n0m0us 14 December 2015 04:48 PM

Oh and that's us out the CL again, how the fvck do we continually get Barca?! Man City got the easiest draw, not fixed then ;)

Funkii Munkii 15 December 2015 01:11 PM

For once I didn't think it was fixed, they usually make sure all the big boys are separated, not this year, gives the smaller teams a shot at a semi, apart from the gooners of course ;)

An0n0m0us 15 December 2015 06:25 PM

This is our year to put Barcelona to rights :lol1:

yeah - but I take a slightly different view anon

I think to win a tournament like the CL ultimately you have got to beat the best

yes we could get Gent, then Zenit etc

and if we lose, no disgrace going out to Barca (we get to see arguably the 3 or 4 bets players in the world at the Emirates )

then we can concentrate on closing out this Premiership

True Hodgy i'd just rather it was the final before playing Barca!

Lol, me too :-)

An0n0m0us 23 February 2016 08:35 PM

Well i'm amazed we made it to half time at 0-0 I was expecting to get slaughtered tonight after how we played against Hull.

An0n0m0us 23 February 2016 09:02 PM

The referee is clearly a Barca fan with the constant free kicks given for perfectly good challenges

urban 24 February 2016 08:29 AM

I didn't see any of the game, just heard about it, but I suspect you'll get you walloped in the return leg

An0n0m0us 24 February 2016 08:34 AM

I expected to get walloped last night and the 2 goals we did concede were very very poor so it was a lot better than I expected. We should have scored at least 2 ourselves and that was the difference, we don't have any World class strikers. Koscielny was superb all night but there was only so much he could do against that forward 3. But yes I don't fancy our chances much at the Nou Camp.

An0n0m0us 24 February 2016 09:45 AM

Quote from Wenger on Sky Sports

"I felt in the final third at the moment we are missing something."
:lol1: err we've been missing something in the final 3rd since Henry and Bergkamp left and you've done fcuk all about it :lol1:

Barca were trying to play like Arsenal by walking it in, hence only 2-0, they never got out of 2nd gear and made Arsenal look ordinary imo.

The real upset could be tonight ;)

I wish I could interview him. I'd put all the points to him that he wouldn't like and wouldn't answer to show him up such as having £200m in the bank and the utter b0ll0cks he spouts every transfer window saying the players just aren't available and then point to all the players other clubs have bought. I said several years ago it was time for him to go when he basically let the squad slide into mediocrity and not replace the World class players we once had and i'm pleased finally some of the crowd have started calling for the same. I hope the unrest grows.

As the press commented at the weekend he has not been held accountable for the lack of success since 2004 and that just shows the board need to go as well including getting rid of Kroenke. Usmanov and Dein are the ones to revive the club and I can only hang on to the hope that one day that might just happen. All the time Wenger and the current board remain we will remain mediocre and continue battling for 3rd/4th place in the premiership at best. (I couldn't give a flying fcuk about the FA Cup the only thing that matters is the Premiership and the Champions League!)

hodgy0_2 15 May 2016 07:35 PM

wow, what a game, in beautiful sunshine - north London at its best

the tension was immense - and cheering 9 goals was fantastic (4 of ours and 5 of Newcastle's)

great stuff

Tottensham were always going to choke

and Arteta scoring with the last kick of the game - brilliant

my little man, 30 mins before kick off
