Phone them and tell em, and phone your bank to stop payment

You go overdrawn if the bank doesn't knock it back!

Have you logged into your PayPal account to check this info? Loads of scam emails going round.

If it's a fraudulent transaction you can report the transaction as a fraud/unverified transaction - in most cases they side with yourself - I had it happen to me where someone paid am for something then 2 days later put a fraud case in against it saying it wasn't authorised. Luckily the courier hadn't collected the item so I wasn't at a loss!

As soon as i got the email from paypal saying i had paid £595 iphoned them straight away they had opened dispute and locked my account so have ebay

TypeR99 07 August 2015 08:31 PM

what has the seller of the item said about it?

peter zippy reid 07 August 2015 09:14 PM

Sent him a message stating i never bought ir wanted this he never replied

Ebay and PayPal are separate companies now.

Sounds like someone has a worm on your PC for them to gain your log in details, or like mentioned above , you opened up a scam email which will contained a worm.

Paypal will investigate things like the ISP the transaction was made from, the MAC address, the Config address of the computer used - if these do not match your normal ones, then it will most likely be awarded to you.

I'd run some very good anti malware and virus scans on your computer. Change all passwords after doing this.

peter zippy reid 08 August 2015 04:35 PM

I use my phone for everything so should i reset it

Trinity 08 August 2015 04:41 PM

I doubt very much they got your details from you phone...its kinda easy to do, but takes the hacker to be within bluetooth range generally.

Once you have changed all your passwords etc, you should be ok, but remember to run all the virus and malware scanners you can, or just start a new profile on your PC.

OK thanks

peter zippy reid 09 August 2015 06:16 PM
