possible sti ra v5-6 rear r180 hubs with sliding caliper

hi,
just going through my spares and found a set of rear hubs.
came with my v5/6 ra.
they are an odd size, hand brake are 190 and discs are 290 but 2 pots dont fit.
anyone know what they normaly run? sliding single pots?

Godspeed Brakes 31 July 2015 07:50 PM

They are early type R , version 3 , the version 4 and 5 ran 2 pots

ok, interesting just researched more and v5/6 sti ra with dccd had it too

The normal classic 1 pots will fit with the 290mm disc on those hubs

there spares for my rally car but i have 6 speed fitted so probably no good. shafts might fit?

as Ian mentions the sliding caliper / solid 290mm disc R180 set-up was only used on 97MY for the STi RA and Type-R cars - v4-6 used 2pots and vented 290mm discs

R180 rear shafts all interchange
