Front diff and gearbox oil change.

Hiya to all, sorry if this has been asked before. I'm looking to change the gearbox oil on my turbo 2000, im just wondering does the front diff oil drain from the same hole as the gearbox oil ? Or does it have its own drain plug ? If so how do I refill the diff ?

Thanks.

The front diff shares the same oil so just drain and refill

presuming you have the std 5spd manual then there is only one drain (shared oils for front diff, centre diff and gearset) and you refill through the dipstick tube

takes approx 3.5ltrs

Yeah std 5 speed box, ok great. Thanks for the help lads.

What oil would you recommend? 80w90 auto tranny oil?

you would be far better with a 75w90 gear oil IMO......
